Structural components are often complex assemblies involving over-molded inserts and stampings. We use automated processes to keep speeds up and costs down.
Auto interiors require precise tolerances, competitive pricing, and large runs. These often require secondary assembly processes including: foam, clips, adhesive tape, fasteners, dampeners, lighting, 2d barcodes, etc. We can also manage outsourced paint coatings on products.
Automotive exteriors require strong UV protection and color hold. Most products have mold-in color or a managed outsourced paint coating. Examples are trim panels or body side moldings.
Building products often require strong UV packages, the ability to produce many colors, and provide competitive pricing. We have made products for HVAC, roofing and siding accessory applications.
Tolerances are often key for the sporting goods products. They typically consist of multi-piece assemblies that require a snap fit. Example: fishing lures
Home and garden products often are quite large and require large presses. Large presses and the ability to overmold has helped Maple Mold compete in this market.
